Here are the top matchups on the schedule for Week 6 in the NFL:

Thursday, October 12, 2017 – Philadelphia Eagles at Carolina Panthers, 7:25 PM CST

It seems fitting for this week’s biggest game to be the first game of Week 6 as the Eagles will travel to Charlotte and take on the Panthers in a Thursday night showdown of 4-1 teams. Philadelphia has been one of the league’s biggest surprises thanks in large part to Carson Wentz and the offense becoming the picture of efficiency and ball control. Meanwhile the Panthers looked to have rebounded from last year’s  disastrous 6-10 season after posting back-to-back victories over the Patriots and Lions. The winner will take over first place in the NFC.

Sunday, October 15, 2017 – Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, 12:00 PM CST

One of the league’s best rivalries will be renewed on Sunday as the Packers are set to take on the Vikings in Minneapolis. Green Bay has won three straight games and will be looking to make it four straight as they look to put an early season grip on first place in the NFC North. Aaron Rodgers is on pace to have another great year and rookie running back Aaron Jones has come out of nowhere to be the offense’s featured back. On the other side of things, Case Keenum filled in admirably for the injured Sam Bradford last week as he led the Vikings to a victory over the Bears. Can he lead the Vikings to an upset of the Packers this Sunday afternoon?

Sunday, October 15, 2017 – Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs, 3:25 PM CST

Kansas City continues to look and play like the league’s top team while Pittsburgh has looked nothing like themselves as they have struggled to open the season. While the Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith has taken his game to an elite level the opposite has transpired for Ben Roethlisberger as he threw a career high five interceptions last week against Jacksonville. Despite the struggles, Pittsburgh enters with a 3-2 record and sits atop the AFC North. Kansas City is undefeated and will be looking to improve to 6-0 while simultaneously avenging last season’s brutal home playoff deat to the Steelers. It should be a great one at Arrowhead.
