Why Buy Nebraska Football Tickets!

The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team is poised to have a strong and entertaining season in 2012, and your chance to get in on the action is now. If you are going to be in or near the fine city of Lincoln anytime in the fall, your best move is to get your hands on your Huskers football tickets before they sell out.

Those that have not been to Memorial Stadium to see a football game in person will be absolutely thrilled by the incredibly positive and upbeat environment and the innate sense of unity among Husker fans. On any given game day the stadium is coated in red and white clothing, and the love that the fans and the surrounding area have for the team is clear to see. The history of the Cornhusker football team actually dates back to the late-19th century, and many relics of past decades are on display in various parts of the facility.

The 2012 Cornhusker team will be led by Coach Bo Pelini, who returns for his 5th year at the helm and appears to be ready to put in several more at this football paradise. Pelini was given the job by legendary ex-coach Tom Osbourne, who is now fills the role of athletic director. Pelini's determination and professionalism are a few of the many reasons that Cornhuskers football is so worth seeing in person! The coach essentially can be trusted to put together a team of young men that will play with grit and full effort on the field, which is all that fans can really ask for.

Quarterback Taylor Martinez garnered national attention as a sophomore in 2011, leading the huskers to a 9-3 regular season record, including four consecutive wins to start the season. Victories over Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State showed the college football world that the Cornhuskers were a team capable of big things, and the expected success of the team in 2012 has made having seats as a Husker football game highly coveted. A talented fleet of wide receivers and tight ends are currently practicing and awaiting the chance to catch passes thrown from the arm of Martinez. If the 2012 squad comes together like many expert expect them to, they will likely make a run at the conference championship.

As a result of simple architectural design and a mostly one-level stadium, every seat inside of Memorial Stadium provides a prefect view of the field, and entering and exiting the seating sections is surprisingly easy given the stadium's capacity of over 80,000. If you are even considering pulling the trigger and buying some Nebraska football tickets, no time is better than the present. September and October home games against Wisconsin and Michigan are sure to be thrilling games, and you can easily miss your opportunity to get in on the action if you delay.
